	The Vermont Business Materials Exchange (VBMX), started in 1993, is a web-based service for the exchange of reusable items from businesses, municipalities, and non-profit organizations to the general public. Through VBMX, connections with others interested in surplus or by-product materials are made and the items stay out of the landfill.
	ReSource creates a market for reusable and repairable household goods by diverting potential resources from the landfill. Individuals and businesses donate things they no longer need. These items are then inspected, refurbished and repaired through a job training and education program and sold with a guarantee of quality.
